The author concentrates on active mode-locked lasers but active mode-locked lasers require several components that can make it expensive. 2. The references would need to be updated and also the topics in the book. 3. The English style of the text is not good. About the Author||Le Nguyen Binh received his BE (Hons) and Ph.D degrees in electronic engineering and integrated photonics in 1975 and 1980, respectively, from the University of Western Australia, Nedlands, Western Australia.
